Kodak is a photography company that went bankrupt in 2012 due to not keeping up with competitors technological revolutions. The Film Manufacturing that made the company what it was, and the reluctancy to give up on film, didn’t allow Kodak to adjust to a more digital era.
objective
The objective is to bring back Kodak but, to keep the brand still representing the importance of film cameras. This campaign focuses on targeting Gen Z and Millennials by modernizing film cameras by giving them a digital platform which they can use with Kodak.
Insight
Find comfort in nostalgia to escape the loud distractions around you.
Gen Z is gravitating towards simpler, nostalgic times. There's an opportunity to revive old brands in a modern way that resonates with Gen Z, providing them an escape from the overwhelming pressure of social media apps.

We aim to inspire people to seek out those precious 'Kodak Moments.' Understanding that they are not everyday occurrences, we encourage individuals to share just once a week. Each week, using various lenses from Kodak's cameras, you can capture your moment. This approach alleviates the daily posting pressure and focuses on cherishing the moments that truly count.
